Burchfield Delivers Commencement Address at Lincoln Memorial University

On May 3, 2025, I was honored to deliver the Commencement address at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. LMU has been very dear to my family. My Mom’s Dad attended LMU in 1913, my Dad graduated from there in 1951, and numerous other of my aunts, uncles, and cousins attended there. The University has also been a foundation for the entire region, producing doctors, lawyers, veterinarians, engineers, and business leaders. I think President Lincoln would be proud of his namesake.
